Students in Erie attend schools in the Boulder Valley School District and the St. Vrain Valley School District. The Boulder Valley School District includes 28,500 students and consistently ranks at the top of Front Range schools according to state and national academic rankings. Voters recently approved $300 million in capitol improvements to each of the 55 schools over the next six years. The St. Vrain Valley School District includes schools specializing in PK-12, and educates 25,491 students.
