An upscale neighborhood south of the Denver metro area, Cherry Creek luxury homes are positioned at the heart of urban-style amenities. According to 5280 Magazine's 2009 Real Estate Report, Cherry Creek was one of eight Denver neighborhoods that saw the highest average sale price increase in 2008. Cherry Creek North, a mixed-use neighborhood located along a 16-block area of First and Sixth Avenues features numerous residential types set among this high-end shopping district where 320 boutiques, restaurants, spas and salons accent the area's trendy vibe. Without a doubt one of the premier shopping destinations in the Rocky Mountain Region, Cherry Creek also features Cherry Creek Shopping Center, home to Nordstrom, Sak's Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, along with Elway's Restaurant and 169 other shops, restaurants and services. Cherry Creek Shopping Center is consistently ranked as one of Denver's top tourist destinations for its world-class shopping.

Also nearby, the Denver Botanic Gardens is one of Denver's most pristine cultural centers and considered one of the top urban gardens in the country. Open year-round, there are 40 gardens, educational and research facilities and annual events (including a Spring Plant Sale, Summer Concert Series, and Blossoms of Light in December). Cherry Creek's flair for the arts also heats up every July (for three days around the Fourth of July) during the nationally-renowned Cherry Creek Arts Festival, a stunning array of visual, culinary and performing arts and interactive exhibits for visitors.

The Cherry Creek bike path is also one of the area's most popular for cyclists, hikers and joggers. It stretches 15 miles to Cherry Creek Reservoir in the east and Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver. Denver Parks and Recreation also offers access to city parks, golf courses, rivers and trail areas, and other programs and activities.
