The Denver Metro area is defined by the city and county of Denver and five suburban counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas and Jefferson. Surrounding Denver and within these five suburban counties you will find over 30 cities, all with their own unique character and amenities. To the northwest of Denver is Boulder County. Boulder is home to the University of Colorado and is regarded as having its own identity. For a more rural setting, Elbert County to the southeast as well as Clear Creek and Park Counties to the west offer acreages and horse properties.
